Itinerary

08:00 CISCO – POGO BAMBA

• Our transport will pick you up at approximately 08:00 am from your accommodation in order to go to the beautiful community of Pongo bamba located between 3800 meters high, we will be able to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of chinchero, with fields that are typical of a cold area of the city of Cusco such as corn, potato, oatmeal and bean among others, we will pass by beautiful small communities, and on the banks of the Piuray lagoon.
• POGO BAMBA: Arriving in the community we will be welcomed by our hosts with dances, dances and multicolored flowers, natural flat formation of the mountain that will be the place where the inhabitants will show us their customs in a beautiful viewpoint where they will receive us with flowers and allow us to dress their ancestral costumes.

ACTIVITIES:

• LLAMATRON: We will start with a walk to the viewpoint of Tankar K ́asa, from where we will enjoy Andean landscapes and go collecting medicinal herbs and boils used to make dyes, arriving to the highest of the viewpoint we will have a spectacular view of the village and the Piuray lagoon, while we rest the inhabitants will tell us a little of their customs, stories and legends and then continue our return to the community.
• FEED-WALKING WITH MEDICINE HERBS: Arriving at the house of our hosts, in the same way that a Spa will have the washing of feet with the herbs that we were collecting on the way but the SAL DE MARAS.

Throughout the walk, the visitor will have the accompaniment of the camelid (Llama and Alpaca) throughout their journey who will take the plants that we will collect.

• ALMOERZO: After this first activity we will be able to choose between the tourist menu that the inhabitants have prepared for us that consists of a soup made with products from the orchards of the newly harvested inhabitants, a dish based on chicken or cow meat or trout, (ask the vegetarian option), and mates with aromatic boils of the area.
• TEJIDOS AND TINTES ANDINOS: After lunch the inhabitants will teach us how to produce their textiles and clothes with the Inca technique from the obtaining of the fiber, through the washing, spinning, warped, dyeing making use of natural plants that we collected in our walk and others of the area, to obtain the different colors and how they fix these dyes to the wool, ending with the fabric of the garments or others like shawls, cellular porta, wallets, laptops porta, ponchos, blankets and more products that can be bought at the end of the workshop.

At the end of our activities, they will give us a beautiful farewell between songs, then we will board our transport to be transferred to our accommodation in the city of Cusco or in the Sacred Valley being in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo (according to what was discussed earlier with the agency.)
