Itinerary

CUSCO – PICUMARCA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN :

• COMBAPATA: We leave Cusco between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m., depending on the location of the hotel. The bus journey takes approximately 2 hours, passing through Urcos. We will make the first stop near the village of Cusipata to enjoy our delicious breakfast (approximately 1 hour). We will continue through Czechacupe until arriving at Combapata (approximately 1 hour more). We'll get to the parking lot around 9:30 a.m.
• PHULAWASIPATA: We will start at the Phulawasipata point. After a brief talk, we will begin our journey going up approximately an hour to the viewpoint of Wallata Q'asa, passing through the community of Palcoyo to more than 4700 m a.s.l.. We'll start our walk at the foot of the Ausangate.
• MOUNT OF COLORS OF Q ́ALLE Q ́ALLE: Walking we will reach the viewpoint of WARSAQYANI from where you can observe the Rainbow Mountain known as Q ́ALLE Q ́ALLE and then walk to the forest of stones (Yura ́q Qaqa) about 4960 m a.s.l.
• Along this route (2km) we will have the opportunity to observe the different varieties of South American camelids such as alpacas and llamas as well as the flora of the place, arriving at the Rainbow Mountain we will have time to take photographs of this beautiful place of a different landscape.
• After visiting the forest of stones we will start our descent walking for almost 1:00 hour, arriving to the point where we start our walk where our mobility awaits us to head towards the restaurant in Cusipata where our delicious lunch awaits us we will have 1 hour to enjoy and relax.
• Finally we will return to Cusco where we will finish our tour near the main square located in the center of the city.
